แบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟฟ้าสำหรับการใช้งานแบบพกพา ต้องเป็นไปตาม มอก. 2879-2560

ตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน 2563 แบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟฟ้าสำหรับการใช้งานแบบพกพาที่ผลิตหรือนำเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรไทยต้องเป็นไปตาม มอก. 2879-2560

ทั้งนี้เป็นไปตามประกาศกฏกระทรวงของกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมวันที่ 2 มิถุนายน 2563 ซึ่งกำหนดให้ผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรมแบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟฟ้าสำหรับการใช้งานแบบพกพา คุณลักษณะที่ต้องการด้านความปลอดภัย ต้องเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานเลขที่ มอก. 2879-2560 โดยให้ใช้บังคับเมื่อพ้นกำหนด 150 วันนับแต่วันประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาเป็นต้นไป (ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาวันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2563)

ผู้ผลิตและผู้นำเข้าสามารถดำเนินการขอใบอนุญาตเพื่อทำและเพื่อแสดงเครื่องหมายมาตรฐานบังคับได้ทันทีตั้งแต่บัดนี้ สาระสำคัญของมาตรฐานแบ่งออกเป็นสองส่วนหลักๆคือ เซลล์และแบตเตอรี่ที่ใช้ในการประกอบแบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟฟ้าต้องเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานเลขที่ มอก. 2217 และสำหรับแบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟฟ้าเองมาตรฐานได้อ้างอิงกับ มอก. 1561 ทั้งนี้ มอก. 2879-2560 ยังได้กำหนดรายละเอียดเรื่องเครื่องหมายและข้อแนะนำไว้เป็นการจำเพาะด้วย

Portable Battery Storage has been regulated to comply with TIS 2879-2560 (2017)

Effective 16 November 2020, Portable Battery Storage products, such as power banks, that is manufactured or imported into Thailand shall comply with TIS 2879-2560 (2017).
The ministerial regulation issued date 2 June 2020 under the Ministry of Industry has enforced Portable Battery Storage products to be complied with TIS 2879-2560 (2017), effective 150 days after the announcement under the government gazette (announced under the gazette on 19 June 2020)
Manufacturers or importers can process for certification on this regulated product by now. The major requirements according to the standard are that the cells or battery that is used for the storage shall comply with TIS 2217, and the product test standard is referred to TIS 1561. The standard TIS 2879 also give details on marking and instruction requirements.
Intertek is a notified testing lab by TISI including TIS 2879 standard and Intertek is a third-party lab that has obtained ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Contact Intertek to certify the products at:
